Thanks for Visiting PEDro at #WorldPhysio2025! <\/p>\n

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who stopped by the PEDro stall at #WorldPhysio2025! It was a pleasure connecting with so many physiotherapists, educators, researchers, and students from around the world. We loved hearing about how PEDro supports evidence-based physiotherapy in your clinics, classrooms, and in your work. <\/p>\n

The PEDro pre-congress social brought together Association representatives, PEDro raters, volunteers, and friends from across the globe. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect, exchange ideas, and celebrate our shared commitment to evidence-based physiotherapy as well as the global spirit and collaboration that define PEDro. <\/p>\n\n

Throughout the congress, PEDro featured in several key sessions, including: <\/p>\n

Networking session<\/strong>: \u201cIntroducing PEDro\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n

Platform presentation<\/strong>: \u201cGlobal contributions to the PEDro database\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n

Poster: \u201cUnequal randomisation is underused in clinical trials of physiotherapy interventions: a review of 47,448 trials\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n

Discussion session<\/strong>: \u201cThe value of systematic reviews \u2013 are we producing research waste?\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n

Discussion session<\/strong>: \u201cThe value of guidelines\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n

Discussion session<\/strong>: \u201cKnowledge translation \u2013 the ongoing challenge of getting research into practice\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n

World Physiotherapy session<\/strong>: \u201cResearch priorities to advance the global physiotherapy profession\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n

PEDro Prize<\/strong>: Judging and award for the best randomised controlled trial of the congress. Details will be shared next month. <\/p>\n

At the PEDro stall, we were delighted to introduce PEDro to many who hadn\u2019t encountered it before and to reconnect with our long-time users. Demonstrating tools like the World-Wide Journal Club and the option to sign up for free evidence updates by email were simple ways to learn how to interpret evidence, and how to stay up to date with the latest, high-quality research. <\/p>\n

As PEDro continues to grow, so does the need for support. To keep delivering free, trusted, accessible evidence, we need advocates, funding, and volunteers. Your help matters. <\/p>\n

Spread the word about the use and importance of PEDo to your colleagues and professional association or contribute your time or expertise in rating articles for PEDro.

Do you have language skills in Korean, Arabic, Romanian, Tamil, Japanese? You could help PEDro with translation work. <\/p>\n

Do you have language skills in Persian, Czech, Russian, Danish, Slovak, Servian, German, Greek? You could receive free PEDro training to help with rating trials using the PEDro scale.
