World Physiotherapy has created a <a href=\"https:\/\/world.physio\/wptday\/toolkit?lang=All&amp;year=25743&amp;toolkit_type=All\">toolkit<\/a> in multiple languages to help you celebrate World PT Day 2026.<\/p>\n<p><strong>World PT Day 2026<\/strong><br \/>\nThis year\u2019s theme highlights the role of physiotherapy and physical activity in the prevention, management and rehabilitation of cardiovascular disease and stroke.<\/p>\n<p><em>Connecting you with the evidence<\/em><br \/>\nThis World PT Day, PEDro recognises physiotherapists worldwide for the important role they play in supporting the health and wellbeing of individuals and communities. Used by physiotherapists in over 200 countries and territories, the Physiotherapy Evidence Database (PEDro) is proud to support the profession by providing access to quality-rated physiotherapy research to inform evidence-based decisions about prevention, exercise and rehabilitation, and other aspects of physiotherapy.<\/p>\n<p>PEDro provides free access to a <a href=\"https:\/\/search.pedro.org.au\/advanced-search\">searchable database<\/a> of over 70,000 randomised controlled trials, systematic reviews and clinical practice guidelines relevant to physiotherapy, including more than 4,700 articles about cardiovascular conditions and cardiovascular health. <a href=\"https:\/\/pedro.org.au\/english\/learn\/search-help\/\">Learn how to search here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>PEDro provides a service for you to stay up-to-date with the latest evidence. Subscribe to <a href=\"https:\/\/pedro.org.au\/english\/browse\/evidence-in-your-inbox\/\">PEDro\u2019s<em> Evidence in your inbox<\/em><\/a>, a free monthly email that includes links to the latest evidence added to PEDro in your chosen topic. We currently have 15 topics, including cardiothoracics, gerontology and neurology.<\/p>\n<p>PEDro provides free access to evidence summaries and infographics that present key research findings in a quick and accessible format.
