What’s it like to be a PEDro Rater – Jânio Luiz Correia

To celebrate #PEDroTurns25, we asked our PEDro Raters why they volunteer to rate articles on PEDro.

Jânio Luiz Correia, PhD Student, University of Pernambuco, Brazil

How long have you been a Rater?

I have had the privilege of being a rater for 4 years.

What do you enjoy about rating?

What inspires me the most is the opportunity to collaborate with PEDro evaluations conducted by physiotherapists around the world, while actively contributing to the global advancement of Evidence-Based Practice.

Why did you start rating?

I began my journey as a rater during my undergraduate studies in physiotherapy, with the goal of deepening my knowledge of the PEDro scale and thereby contributing significantly to the advancement of science and physiotherapy practice.
